Danish Ministry of Higher Education & Science

Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Denmark
(Uddannelses- og Forskningsministeriet)
The Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science is responsible for the strategic development and funding of Denmark’s research and innovation ecosystem. It oversees significant public investments aimed at translating academic excellence into societal value, particularly in "green" research, life sciences, and critical technologies. Through agencies like Independent Research Fund Denmark and Innovation Fund Denmark, the Ministry supports both curiosity-driven "blue-skies" research and high-impact industrial partnerships, ensuring Denmark remains a global leader in scientific output and sustainable solutions.
